Vintage

So lately I've been just obsessing with film cameras, film photos, and just anything with film... especially aged film or even just aged photos.  I really like that vintage look.  It just so happened that my cousins from Taiwan sent me a bunch of pictures from my parent's wedding way back in the day.  Some of the photos are not clear due to the scanning process, but the photos themselves have aged quite a bit... and I really like them!  Here are some photos of my family... before I was born =)  enjoy....

just lovely....

 So pretty!

awwwww =*)

 my mother was such a beautiful bride =)

I love this picture !

I love my parents.  I got to admit, they were a good looking couple... I'm not sure what happened to me though =/  eh.. o'well hahahaha.  I am very happy to see these pictures, because it shows one of the happiest times of their lives... but at the same time I am saddened... to know that they are no longer together.  But non the less I am very happy and lucky to still have both of them in my life.  I love you both very much =)

This is how we roll

My new girlfriend

Hi everyone. I just wanted to introduce you all to my new girlfriend. Happy day! =) I lost my car but I got a new (actually it's quite old) camera! so I guess that makes up for it... kinda... haha. Anyways I can't wait to pick up some film and start shooting away. I was able to pick up this Canon AE-1 for $75, which to me is quite a deal. If you look online, this camera can go up to $200-$300 for a mint condition one. I met up with a guy who buys and sells these old film camera's to colleges for photo students, and he services and cleans all the cameras. He brought out at least 6 or 7 of the same camera to show me and for me to choose which was great, because as some of you know I'm kind of weird when it comes to buying stuff, cause I have to compare it with the same thing and inspect it to make sure I'm getting the best one.. a little OCD? I don't know... whatevers though because it makes me happy =) Anyways I chose the best one he had, which was in really really good conditon... 1 to 10, I'd say it's a 10... considering the fact that this camera came out in 1976 and is still in such good shape. This totally made up for my shitty week =)

I guess I have 2 girlfriends now =P

Hello there beautiful

Saw Black Swan tonight.  I really enjoyed the movie.  It is dark, but at the same time very beautiful.  Natalie Portman is such a talented actor.  She is so versatile and just simply amazing.  I've always thought she was very beautiful, but to tell you the truth, I think I've fallen in love haha.  If you guys haven't seen it yet, I definitely recommend you guys to do so when you get the chance.  Natalie is featured on Vogue for the Jan 2011 cover.  You can read the article here, called Natalie Portman: Spreading Her Wings.

Switching over to film..... for now..

So I have decided to switch over to shooting film for a bit... I have actually never shot with film before so this will be a good experience for me.  I'm already getting excited just reading about it.  Anyways I've contacted a guy who's selling a Canon AE-1 35mm SLR camera.  I'm going to pick it up from him sometime this weekend or early next week.  After I get use to shooting film on a 35mm I think I will switch over to 120 film and upgrade to a Mamiya C330 =P

Yummy Yummy

Since I've been trying to eat healthy for the past few months, the majority of my carbs come from vegetables.  I've been eating chicken, carrots, and broccoli everday for lunch and dinner for quite awhile now... so I decided to change it up a little... to beef, asparagus, and broccoli lol

Some behind the scenes of a photo shoot I just did.  Was roughly a 10 hour shoot, longest I've had so far.  Awesome experience, and great team.  Good job everyone
